Itinerary

Upon your arrival at Islamabad International Airport, our dedicated guide and driver will be there to extend a warm welcome. You will either be met at the international arrival area of the airport or at a location in Islamabad or Rawalpindi of your preference. From there, we will embark on a comfortable drive to your hotel.

This marks the beginning of your journey with us, and we are excited to ensure that your stay in Pakistan starts on a positive and welcoming note.

Today, our journey takes us to Chilas, and the route we choose will depend on the status of the Babusar Pass. If the pass is open and travel conditions are favorable, we will embark on a scenic drive via the Naran Valley. This route promises breathtaking landscapes and a unique adventure through the picturesque Naran Valley.

However, if the Babusar Pass is closed due to weather or other factors, we will opt for the Karakoram Highway (KKH) route, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey to Chilas. Our choice of route will be made with your safety and travel conditions in mind, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable passage to our destination.

Today, our journey unfolds as we embark on a scenic drive to Ghulkin/Gulmit along the storied Karakoram Highway. This day promises a captivating tapestry of natural wonders and cultural experiences. Our first stop will be at a viewpoint where we'll be treated to a majestic sight—the grandeur of Nanga Parbat, a towering peak that reaches an impressive 8126 meters. It's a moment to appreciate one of the world's highest peaks in all its glory.

Continuing our route, we'll arrive at a unique convergence point where the Karakoram, Himalaya, and Hindu Kush mountain ranges meet. Here, you can absorb the awe-inspiring view of these iconic mountain ranges, a testament to nature's unparalleled beauty.

Our journey will also lead us to the remnants of the Old Silk Road, a historic trade route that once facilitated commerce and cultural exchange between the East and West. Exploring this ancient path, you'll feel a connection to the travelers of bygone eras.

As the day progresses, we'll pause for lunch at a captivating viewpoint offering panoramic vistas of Rakaposhi, a magnificent peak that reaches an elevation of 7788 meters. It's an ideal spot to savor a meal while taking in the breathtaking mountain scenery.

Finally, we'll reach our destination for the day—the picturesque Ghulkin/Gulmit village in Gojal upper Hunza valley. Here, you can unwind and reflect on the incredible sights and experiences that have defined our journey.

On this day, we will focus on preparing for the upcoming trek. Our agenda includes essential tasks such as packing food supplies, conducting thorough equipment checks for tents, sleeping bags, and all other necessary gear to ensure everything is in optimal condition for the trek.

Following our preparations, we will have some free time to explore the surrounding villages. It's an opportunity to immerse ourselves in the local culture, interact with the friendly villagers, and perhaps discover some hidden gems in the area. This day of preparation and exploration sets the stage for the exciting adventure that awaits us on the trek.

Today, we will commence our adventure by driving to Upper Borith Village and embarking on a trek that leads us directly to Camp 2, also known as Lazdur. As we hike through this enchanting terrain, we will find ourselves surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of the Hunza region. The trail offers glimpses of the rugged landscape, the gleaming white glacier, and a sense of remoteness that sets the stage for our trekking journey. We will cross the Passu glacier and reach the other side, which serves as the 2nd campsite of the trek. Upon reaching Lazdur, we will set up our camp, and as evening descends, we will immerse ourselves in the tranquility of the wilderness.

Today, our journey takes us deeper into the heart of the Patundas region. Leaving Lazdur behind, we will continue our trek toward the awe-inspiring Patundas Meadows. As we ascend, the landscape changes, offering breathtaking vistas of towering peaks, glaciers, and alpine meadows. Our destination, Patundas Meadows, is a serene haven at an altitude of 4200 meters. Here, we will establish our campsite amidst the pristine surroundings, providing a perfect base for exploration and relaxation.

Today, we have a full day to explore our surroundings. We will have the opportunity to fully immerse ourselves in the natural wonders of Patundas Meadows. We can explore the area, hike to nearby vantage points, or simply revel in the tranquility. The meadows are an ideal spot for photography, meditation, or simply soaking in the magnificence of the surrounding peaks. As the day transitions into night, we will have the privilege of camping in this ethereal location, under a canopy of stars.

Today marks the continuation of our trek, and we have two options. We can either begin our descent, retracing our steps back to Borith Village, reminiscing about the journey thus far, or we can choose to forge ahead and trek to the Summer House camp. Both paths offer unique experiences—returning to Borith provides a sense of completion, while proceeding to the Summer House extends our adventure along the Batura Glacier. Regardless of our choice, the day promises new perspectives and vistas to savor.

Today, if we descended the same way back to Borith, we will have a rest day in Upper Hunza. We will relax and explore the villages as per the clients' wishes. Alternatively, if we chose to descend to the Summer House alongside the Batura glacier, we will trek down to the Karakoram Highway (KKH) and drive to the hotel in Upper Hunza.

Today, we have a full-day excursion planned to the world's highest paved border crossing, the "Khunjerab Pass" at 4693 meters above sea level, which connects Pakistan with China. After spending time at the Khunjerab Pass, we will begin our descent back. On our return journey, we will make several stops at the Khunjerab National Park, where you can catch glimpses of some unique and wild animals. If luck is on our side, we might even have the opportunity to spot animals like the snow leopard, ibex, marmot, and others.

Later in the day, we will pause at the charming small villages of Upper Gojal Valley, including the iconic Passu village, where you can capture beautiful group photos with the famous Passu cones in the background. In the evening, we will drive back to the hotel, concluding a day filled with incredible experiences and memorable moments.

We will embark on a drive to Karimabad today and take the opportunity to explore the stunning surroundings along the way. During our journey, we will make several stops at notable attractions, including Attabad Lake and the Sacred Rocks of Hunza. Upon reaching Karimabad, our exploration continues as we visit the Royal Garden and Altit Fort, immersing ourselves in the rich history and natural beauty of the region.

In the evening, we will head to the picturesque sunset point at Duiker, where we can witness the breathtaking sunset casting its warm hues over the majestic mountains that surround Hunza and Nagar valleys. It promises to be a truly magical and unforgettable experience.

Today, we will commence our journey back to Naran, and our route will depend on the status of the Babusar Pass. If the pass is open and conditions are favorable, we will take the scenic route via Babusar Pass, which offers stunning mountain vistas and an adventurous experience.

However, if the pass is closed due to weather or other factors, we will opt for an alternative route by driving to Besham via the Karakoram Highway. This route provides its own unique charm and scenic beauty, ensuring that our journey remains enjoyable and memorable. Our choice of route will be made with safety and travel conditions in mind, ensuring a smooth return journey.

Today, we will begin our journey back to Islamabad. Along the way, we will make a stop at the Taxila Museum, where you can explore the rich historical artifacts and learn more about the ancient civilization of Taxila.

Upon reaching Islamabad, we will continue our exploration by visiting some of the city's iconic landmarks. Our itinerary will include a visit to the magnificent Faisal Mosque, a symbol of architectural beauty and spirituality. We will also explore the Pakistan Monument, which represents the nation's history and culture.

To round off the day, we will immerse ourselves in the local culture by visiting a bustling bazaar, where you can shop for souvenirs, handicrafts, and experience the vibrant atmosphere of the market. It promises to be a day filled with culture, history, and memorable experiences.

Today marks the last day of your journey with us, and we want to ensure it ends on a memorable note. Depending on your flight time, if it's scheduled for the morning, we will make sure to drop you at the airport with ample time, at least 3 hours before your departure.

However, if your flight is in the evening, we have a special sightseeing tour planned for you. This tour will include a visit to the picturesque Margalla Hills, a trip to Saeedpur Village to experience its unique charm, and an exploration of Raja Bazaar in Rawalpindi, where you can soak in the local culture and flavors.

In the evening, we will accompany you to the airport, ensuring a seamless departure process. We sincerely hope that your time spent with us in Pakistan has been truly enjoyable and enriching. We wish you a safe and pleasant journey back home and look forward to the possibility of welcoming you again to Pakistan in the future.
